Rabbit whole blood is collected from individual, healthy, young rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus) Breeds: New Zealand White and/or California White that are 8 - 12 weeks of age, mixed sex at time of slaughter, into Sodium Heparin (7500 units/ml) at a ratio of 500:1, bottled and stored on wet ice prior to shipment.
