Rabbit blood is collected from healthy, albino rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus), 8 - 12 weeks of age.  A variety of anticoagulants including sodium citrate, EDTA, heparin, Alsevers, etc., are available to suit your application.  Licensed by the USDA Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Pel-Freez maintains the highest animal welfare standards.
