Product Overview

Isotype IgG.

Host Species: Rabbit
Clonality: Polyclonal
Isotype: IgG
Immunogen: 20 amino acid peptide identical to the C-terminal region of rat ACIII (residues PAAFPNGSSVTLPHQVVDNP).
Immunogen Species: Rat
Species Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat
Molecular Weight: 200 kDa
Purification: Affinity-purified
Physical State: Liquid
Buffer: Lyophilized from PBS buffer pH 7.2-7.6 with 0.1% trehalose, sodium azide
Specificity: The antibody stains a band at about 200 kDa in olfactory epithelium which is rich in cilia. Fewer cilia are found in frontal cortex, and the protein is less heavily glycosylated, and a less prominent band is seen at about 160 kDa. It has also been used successfully for immunocytochemistry on mixed neuron/glia cultures. The antibody has been directly tested for reactivity in rat. It can be expected that it will work on human due to homology with the immunogen and possibly other mammal tissues (human, horse, cow, pig, chicken, mouse).
Application Notes: Recommended starting dilutions: WB 1:1000 – 1:2000; IHC 1:5000 – 1:10000; ICC 1:5000 – 1:10000.
Storage Conditions: -20°C or -80°C (long term), 2 – 8°C (short term)
Handling: Aliquot on receipt to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Keep a working aliquot at 2 – 8°C for short-term use. Spin the vial down before opening. Reconstitute in 100 µL sterile-filtered, ultrapure water before use.
Shipping Conditions: Dry ice
Expiration: Stable for 12 months from receipt (unopened).
