Should I order fresh or frozen tissue?
Most of our tissues are frozen promptly after collection and shipped on dry ice, which halts enzymatic activity and keeps the tissue stable in storage at -10°C or below. Fresh (non-frozen) tissues such as fresh rabbit psoas and skeletal muscle ship on wet ice for applications that need unfrozen tissue, and should be used on arrival.
