Certificates of Analysis

Most Pel-Freez lot numbers are five digits that spell a date: the first three are the Julian day the lot was made (001 is January 1, 365 is December 31) and the last two are our year code, so lot 13248 was made on day 132, May 12. Older lots may be just the three day digits; letters after a dash (-A, -B, -RB) mark a split lot or the source of the material, and single-donor human serum lots add the four-digit donor number after a dash (00142-1234).

Certificates issued to a specific customer are posted with the customer name, purchase order number and other customer details blacked out; the lot number, specifications and test results are exactly as issued. For a clean copy of a certificate issued to your organization, email biosales@pel-freez.com with the product and lot number.
