| Specificity: | CSI 003-23 is highly specific for vitronectin. There is no evidence for cross-reactivity with other connective tissue proteins (fibronectin, elastin, collagen, laminin). CSI 003-23 binds nearly as well to native vitronectin as to denatured. CSI 003-23 is a potent inhibitor of integrin-mediated cell adhesion to vitronectin and a moderate inhibitor of PAI-1 binding. Epitope is located in the somatomedin B domain. |
