C3/C4 Depleted Human Serum
Normal human serum with C3 and C4 inactivated by chemical amine treatment. C3 and C4 remain present in the serum, though are functionally inactive. >50 mg protein per mL. Activity >80% vs. normal human serum standard when reconstituted with C3 (1.3 mg/mL C3) and C4 (0.4 mg/mL C4). Buffer: 10 mM sodium phosphate, 145 mM NaCl, pH 7.3. 0.22 µm filtered. Less than 2% classical and less than 5%alternative complement pathway activity.
